Yeah. This is how I like it, a nice event for a pre-saturday night activity. Friends and Enemies are passing by Tape Club tomorrow and will bring together 25 Artists to interpret the motto “Bon Voyages” via Charakter Design. The vernissage starts at 9 pm and you can get in for free till 12. Via.

Die Terasse ist ein neuer Spot für den sonntäglichen Wochenendausklang. Und da wir nach durchtanzten Nächten gerne open air ausklingen statt im Bett den Sommer zu verschlafen, bietet die Location alles was man zum runter-, aber auch wieder hochkommen braucht. Eingebettet zwischen Spree und Maria zieht sie sich wie ein langes Band am Fluß entlang und bietet auf der einen Seite viel Grün und den fürs Berliner After Hour Gefühl obligatorischen Wasserblick. Auf der anderen Seite kommt sie dirty mit der schwarz gestrichenen Rückseite des Klubs und einer kleinen Bar. Hat alles etwas von einer entspannten Backyard Optik.

Mit einem Startschuss von 16 Uhr zielt die Terasse wohl eher auf ausgeschlafene Sonntagsflaneure als auf ein übernächtigtes Partyvolk dass nicht genug bekommen kann. Die Musik kam Funky und weniger elektronisch. Da bei unserem Besuch aber nur ca. 20 Gäste anwesend waren konnte man sich nicht wirklich ein Bild von einer ordentlichen Partyatmosphäre machen. Wir bleiben aber auf jeden Fall dran und werden der Terrasse in den letzten Sommer Wochenenden sicher noch den ein oder aneren Besuch abstatten…

It´s always worth to you keep your right eye on the sidebars of your favourite websites. With this Eyes-Open-Style I found one of the most interesting online shop since years. Interesting because  I am sick of all the big names and brands that are out there. They just bore me to death and right now you couldn´t get me into an all new clothing shop. Thats why Etsy keeps me busy since some days in researching for some nice new stuff. The first hit that is on the way to me myself and I are these wonderful 80´s boots made by Charles David. Can´t wait to have them on my feet.

I don´t know why a band is calling itself New Look? Maybe it´s just because the two members Sarah Ruba and Adam Pavao are some kind of Model-Brooklyn-IT-Hipsters, that are just perfect for showing up in your next month Style Magazines. But besides all that eye candy they could also name theirself Fantastic Future Pop Duo and get the main act for my next party if I will ever have my next first one! SoSo I just crushed on the 2 Canadians and their New Look, this time musical wise. Check out their MySpace for songs and of course Pics. “Everything” is my song. Choose yourself another favourite! I´m so looking forward finishing my final exams and do all the things that have to been done in the summer. And i will buy a tight trunk of course. Ciao Bella!

It´s Fusion time again and if you don´t know the festival by now you should cancel all your Inner-City dates and go,bike,ride,drive,swim to wonderful Müritz-Land. Fusion Festival is something like the answer to all the commercial sponsored big names festival. You can go there, bring your drinks and dive into a fantasy park where everything is just a little bit next to normal. Fusion starts on Thursday and goes till Sunday. The Line-Up is big and as every year I don´t know many names of the DJ´s, Bands, VJ´s, Artists, Poets and Clowns. If you trust the Orga in that point and if you are a little bit open for music you will have a wonderful time. C.U. There!

 
I love to rediscover old songs for me. This time I just watched the great Lucky Number Sleven movie where Wendy Rene´s “After Laughter” song hijacked me back to the XX´s. And I´m not the only one who got inspired by this young now old lady. After Wu-Tang and Alica now Scandinavian darling Lykke Li is riding on the wave. And I think they are making some good turns. We just founded the probably first inofficial Yeasayer fan-club in Germany before a couple of months. It´s more like a waiting time bridging till their next concert here in Berlin. Till than we keep each other updated with new groupie stuff to watch and listen. Why we love them so much you can see in the video above. Yeasayer just do wonderful simple music. Thats it.
